Windows 7 Service Pack 1 officially released

Finally, Microsoft has officially released Windows 7 Service Pack 1 on February 22, 2011 the last. Having previously released version realease Candidatenya October last year. In Windows Update, File Windows7 SP1 for 32bit version has a size of more than 750MB, and for the 64bit version has a size of more than 1GB.

“Beginning today, Windows 7 Service Pack 1 will be available to everyone via the Microsoft Download Center and (will) start scrolling through Windows Update” Microsoft spokesman said in its news Brandon LeBlanc on Windows blog.

Latest Remote Desktop Client in Windows SP1

Windows 7 SP1 is just a collection of some security patches and other patches. The only extra in this SP1 is the latest Remote Desktop Client which has been designed to work with RemoteFX. A new technology that began in the Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 which also recently released.

RemoteFX designed to improve the graphics performance of Windows Virtual Machine Host Server 7 on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. Windows 7 SP1 also supports “Dynamic Memory” in Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 that allows an IT staff to easily control the use of its Memory In Virtual Machine.

“Remember – for Windows 7, SP1 will help keep your PC properly supported to provide ongoing updates, many of which have been previously made available through Windows Update” said Microsoft’s Brandon LeBlanc at the Windows Team Blog. “It is, however, include client-side support for Memory RemoteFX and dynamic that two new virtualization feature enabled in Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.”
